Pros:

Best Uses:
i USE MINE IN THE YARD TO.
Describe Yourself:
BACK PROBLEMS.

I use mine all the time inside and outside to pickup small sticks and things like walnuts and dead leaves. It is wonderful could be just a little sturdier.

At the end of the day . . . really good

Pros:
Lightweight. Safe. small enough to be handy.
Cons:
should close with fingers.
Best Uses:
Elderly. Following Surgery. Emergency.

It is a little awkward to close the handle with the palm of my hand. I have a longer handled reacher which feels a little more study and which closes using my fingers. I do hope this one lasts as long as the long handled one has lasted. I use the reacher to grab things after I sit down, to turn off a light out of reach, to pick up things I've dropped. Someone ought to make a grabber with a long thin suction cup; I could use it to pull up my socks; the round one does not work well for that and similar situations.

Describe Yourself:
Post-op patient.

When pulling on grip the tip sag down to make gripping item a little harder. Wish it was a trigger type mechanism to make steady gripping easily.

Describe Yourself:
Handicapped. Elderly.

If you have used typical "grabbers" you'll find first use of this product a little awkward. Usually the rearmost handles on these devices are stationary. With this grabber, the grasping motion is achieved by grasping using your thumb. You must squeeze the rearmost handle to grab something. This is not how the human hand works, especially if you're limited by any number of problems. ---Like age. The rearmost movable handle is not solid, just a thin 'u' shaped plastic that may not hold up to stress. There are no holes or hook attachment points, so storing it might be problematic. It isn't expensive, that's its main value.

Best Uses:
Elderly. decreased mobility.
Describe Yourself:
Medical Professional. Caregiver.

I use this for myself also. My dad has purchased a similar device in the past but they were not as sturdy. The price of this was equivalent to the previous device that was not quite as strong.
