Easily fits between the swing away supports of wheelchairs or under a desk to fully support the feet and lower legs.

Surface is constructed of a soft touch, durable plastic that can be adjusted for firmness by releasing air from a recessed air valve. For years, I've been buying my mother different foot rests because she's supposed to keep her legs elevated. She never used any of them until we bought this. Now I find her sitting using the foot rest every day. She can arrange it relatively easily, though she has limited movement, and finds it comfortable.

There is N O T H I N G soft touch about this product. It is a firmly, molded plastic cube with a plug supposedly to soften the rigid shape?? Had to repeatedly contact company for info on sending back.

My mom could not find a comfortable way to sit and rest her legs properly following her 2nd Total Knee replacement. She was only comfortable sitting in a wheelchair with leg rests. She didn't need the wheelchair because she could walk. I purchased the Tuffet Foot/Leg Rest and not only is she sitting everywhere comfortably, but her legs, knees, back, and buttocks feel soo much better!!!!
