I was disappointed in this product. The item was blue on the website, but a bright red one was sent; my teenage son would have preferred blue. There is not enough room for items needed by a type 1 diabetic such as ketone test strips. The frozen gel pack failed to keep the insulin cool for a 10-hour trip. The zipper does not pull smoothly; I fear it will break before long.

I have no cooling issues thus far. Keep a cool pack in it, and yer good to go for several hours. And any time yer near a freezer, take the pak out, and "recharge" it until yer on the go again. Buys some time of course. A definite upgrade from my old bag.
