If one has to do multiple lances daily, this is the way to go. Each Multiclix lancet--there are six in the cartridge--lasts me two days. I don't have to go through the step of loading lancets one at a time each time I test my glucose.

Although this lancing device is larger than most, it hurts much less. I test 3-4 times a day, so I run out of fingers fast. Being able to test on other parts of the body is a plus.

As a person who is monitoring Type 2 diabetes for the first time, I was apprehensive at first, but this device, in general, is reliable and painless, when used according to directions. I still don't undertstand turning the top around, but there is always a new lancet ready when you push the end down and yellow spot shows in device.
