These Bayer CONTOUR® Test Strips are for use with Bayer's Contour Meter. Formerly known as Ascensia Microfill Test Strips, the CONTOUR® Test Strips use Sip-in Sampling® Technology which require only a tiny drop of blood for an accurate reading. These test strips provide easy viewing of sample fill to ensure accurate results and fast testing. There is No Coding Required™. This means you can open a new box of test strips and use them right away – no extra steps to take!

Bayer's CONTOUR® Test Strips:

  • Tiny 0.6 µL (microliters) blood sample size
  • For use with Bayer's CONTOUR® (Ascensia Contour) Blood Glucose Meter
  • Microfill Sampling Technology - automatic strip-filling action

I began using the Contour strips because the meter with the features I wanted is made by Bayer. I find the easy to use. I believe the wastage, those strips that are tossed because they didn't pickup enough blood, etc., is much lower with the contour strips than with other brands I've used. The difference may be big enough to wipe out the price difference.
