I have used this for years. It takes less blood than any other meters even if they say they do. Small and easy to use. Easier to get the right amount of blood on the test strip. Don't have to test the fingures so I don't end up bleeding all over my shirt while trying to button them, or get blood on other things.

I purchased this monitor to do home testing on my (sadly, now deceased) diabetic cat based on the small sample size required. It lived up to its billing. We were able to get blood samples from her ear easily and (we hope) painlessly from her ear and have a reading in seconds.

 I lost my booklet and want to see how to set the date and time. Also, what does the low batter sign look like. I am seeing a picture of a battery on the screen, but I just put new ones in. Took them out and the checked a little over 3 volts.
