The SECA 703 High Capacity Digital Beam Scale is an extremely robust, precise and stable scale. With a capacity of 550 lbs, a large but low platform and the integrated BMI function, the SECA 703 digital beam scale has the prerequisites for the diagnosis and therapy of heavyweight patients. The durable construction of the large cast iron base can cope with the most extreme loads. The energy-saving battery operation of up to 16,000 weighings with just one set of batteries means that this scale can be used anywhere as it is not dependent on AC power. The scale also facilitates weighing and measuring in one step with the integral SECA 220 measuring rod.

Safe, non-slip, large platform.Due to its particularly large platform, this professional scale is safe and comfortable to mount. The ribbed rubber mat gives additional stability.

Check nutritional condition with the BMI function.At the touch of a button, the BMI value of the patient can be quickly and easily determined after weighing and entering the height. This value gives reliable information on the nutritional condition according to the WHO standard. The scale includes SECA's telescoping SECA 220 measuring rod thus facilitating weighing and measuring in one step.

Comfortable weighing due to TARE and HOLD functions.With the TARE function, it is possible to determine the exact net weight when a patient is dressed or is using an aid when mounting the scale. The HOLD function stores the weight even after the patient gets down off the scale, meaning that the patient can first be taken care of and the result then noted down in one's own time.

Flexible in use and almost maintenance-free.The column scale is flexible because it can be moved easily using the integrated castors and also because it is battery-powered. Up to one year's normal use is possible with just one set of batteries.
