Standard 2.5v Diagnostic Set
The Standard 2.5v Diagnostic Set features cool, fiber optic light transmission, a magnifying lens and a built in throat illuminator. It is airtight for pneumatic otoscopy and compatible with all Welch Allyn ear specula. There's even a built in storage area to keep specula handy at all times. The Standard 2.5v Diagnostic Set makes ear, nose and throat examinations easy and accurate-even when you're away from the comforts of your office.
Standard 2.5v Diagnostic Set Features:
- Ophthalmoscope head with lens wheel features 25 corrective lenses from -20 to +20 diopters
- Otoscope head with removable 4x magnifying lens, and insufflator fitting
- Bayonet head locking mounts for secure connection to the battery handle
- “C” cell powered battery handle with rheostatic on/off switch
- Auto-clavable, polypropylene ear specula in 2.5mm, 3.5mm, and 4.5mm sizes
- Adapter to allow use with Welch Allyn or compatible disposable specula
- Complete in zippered case with fitted foam insert that is scuff and scratch resistant and cleans easily
- Weighs 20 oz. Inspected and packaged in the U.S.A. from foreign components
- Batteries NOT included

Worth the price
Pros:
Good price.
Cons:
Heavy.
Scope magnifier falls off.

Medical Professional.
Heavy to carry around in lab coat pocket, but not unbearable. The otoscope light is actually within the tunnel view to the ear but does not obscure the view. The maginifying piece on the otoscope comes on and off too easily. For the price and having just one handle for both ophthalmoscope and otoscope it is worth the buy if you just need a simple look. These are not for very detailed ENT exams, but they do the job for simple ear aches.
