Thank God for Compleat! Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Good Value. Effective. Easy To Use.
Best Uses:
Daily Use. Everyday. Food-averse children.
Describe Yourself:
Quality Oriented.

9-yr old daughter with Down syndrome has extreme sensitivity to food textures. We've been working for years to get her to expand what she eats with little success. When she was about a year old we discovered Compleat pediatric and found she would tolerate being spoon-fed a mix of compleat, powdered baby food, and #2 baby food in jars. 8 years later we're still spoonfeeding her, but she's developing woderfully.

Pros:
Produces Results. Simple To Take.
Cons:
Solidifies easily. Thick for enteral tubing.
Best Uses:
Daily Use.
Describe Yourself:
Child with special needs. First Time User.

This product worked when my son's gut could not handle any other product. He has gained weight consistently since starting Pediatric Compleat. It is easy to use and portable. We do have to add water to it in order to dilute the liquid. It is very thick and sticks to the sides of his tubing. Cleaning the extension tube can be difficult. We have to run his rate fairly slow and the formula can solidify inside the tube or inside his GJ tube. This can cause the line to clog. We must flush his tube often. We have loved this product and are so glad that we found it. If it hadn't worked for our son, he was going to be started on TPN. So, in our eyes, it has saved us great hardship.

This product contains real food that can be delivered by g-tube. It is easy to use and convenient. It travels well. We have been using two cans every day for over 3 years. My only complaint is the price.
