Starting from birth, some small babies who have conditions such as prematurity may need special nutritional attention.
While these babies are in the hospital, they may be fed a nutritionally dense formula, such as Enfamil Premature Formula.
When it's time to come home, they may no longer require the formula they were fed in the nursery. But they may still need one that provides added nutrition compared with routine formulas.
If that describes your baby, his or her doctor may recommend EnfaCare infant formula.
Like Enfamil, designed for everyday use, EnfaCare is a milk-based formula that's available for doctors to recommend for babies with conditions such as prematurity. It provides more calories (22 Calories per fl oz versus 20 Calories per fl oz) as well as extra protein, vitamins, and minerals.
When it's time for your baby with special needs to come home from the hospital, it may be time for EnfaCare.
