Nutrihep Enteral Nutrition for Hepatic Patients provides an amino acid profile rich in branched-chain amino acids and low in aromatic and ammonogenic amino acids. NUTRIHEP is calorically dense, providing a high calorie-to-nitrogen ratio, to help spare protein for lean body mass. NUTRIHEP has a low total fat content with a high proportion of fat as MCT to facilitate fat absorption.

Nutrihep can be used as a tube feeding or as an oral supplement.

• Ready-to-use liquid formula is convenient and minimizes risk of contamination (compared to powders)
• High caloric density (1.5 kcal/mL) for fluid management
• Moderate fat (12% of total calories) and high MCT (70% of fat) to minimize fat intolerance
• Desirable n6:n3 ratio of 4:1
• Protein source is high in branched-chain amino acids and low in aromatic and ammonia-forming amino acids
