Phlexy Vits

Phlexy Vits is a concentrated, powdered vitamin, mineral and trace element preparation designed to meet the micronutrient requirements of older children (from approximately 11 years) and adults.

Phlexy Vits - Preparation:

The recommended dosage of Phlexy-Vits is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. One packet supplies the majority of vitamins, minerals and trace elements needed to meet the DRIs of an individual 11 years and older. The suggested dose may need lowering if vitamins, minerals and trace elements are provided in the diet from other sources.

Phlexy-Vits may be added to powdered medical foods such as the Phlexy-10 Drink Mix. It may also be added to soft drinks and fruit juices or sprinkled over a small amount of food. Mix one packet of Phlexy-Vits with one packet of dry powdered Phlexy-10 Drink Mix. Add a small amount of water and mix to a smooth paste. Add the remaining water to give a final volume of approximately 100 mL (3.5 fl oz). Alternatively, mix one packet of Phlexy-Vits to a smooth paste with 50 mL (1.6 fl oz) of soft drink or fruit juice. Dilute to a final volume of 150 mL (5 fl oz). The amount of juice or soft drink used will vary according to taste.

Natural discoloration of this product will occur after reconstitution. For best results, consume immediately.

Precaution: Must only be given under strict medical supervision. Not intended as the sole source of nutrition. Not recommended for infants and young children. Not suitable for parenteral administration. Store in a cool, dry place.
