Resource Benefiber from Nestlé HealthCare Nutrition is partially hydrolyzed guar gum (PHGG), a soluble fiber with more than 10 human clinical studies that prove its ability to help promote overall gut health, prevent and alleviate constipation, and act as a bulking agent for help with diarrhea. Fiber is an essential part of a healthy diet. Most people only get half of the 20-35 grams recommended by the American Diabetic Association. The answer? mix Benefiber into hot or cold beverages like water, coffee, even smoothies. It delivers all the fiber needed for good health.


Each serving of Nutrisource Fiber powder provides 3 g of soluble fiber from partially hydrolyzed guar gum (PHGG)

I purchased this particular Benefiber over the others that you can buy at most retailers like Wally World on my doctor's recommendation, because it is made from 100% partially hydrolyzed guar gum. Study's have shown that this particular type of fiber helps with satiety (feeling full) during a reduced calorie diet. Plus you get all of the other benefits of a high fiber diet. We mixed 1-2 scoops into the weight loss shakes we used in the program, but you can add it to just about anything. It's tasteless and adds a negligible number of calories. A word of WARNING: Suddenly adding a lot of fiber to your diet can create intestinal discomfort. If you are not currently on a high fiber diet start with small amounts and increase the amount over time.
