Airex Balance Pad
The Airex Balance Pad combines both exercise and balance skills to increase strength, stamina, differentiation, and coordination. Users can vary the challenge of the "wobble effect" by stacking two balance pads or by using one on a mat.
Other Airex Balance Pad applications include:
- Mobility training
- Standing stability training
- Lower extremity rehabilitation
- Motor skill training to maintain balance
The Airex Balance Pad is constructed of a soft specialty foam that will not absorb water. It is also Sanitized (TM) to inhibit the growth of fungus and microbes, thus extending its life. Measures: 20" x 16.4" x 2 1/2". Weights 1.6 lbs. (Size and weight are estimations because of the flexible material properties). Latex free.

I am a painter/wallpaper hanger and fractured my tibeal plateu in my right knee requiring a screw to be inserted. I used this balance pad in therapy and was really sold on it. Instead of knee pads, I use this balance pad to support myself and give comfort to my knees while painting baseboard, etc.

This balance pad is FANTASTIC ... a wobble board is too wobbly; a balance dome too difficult to balance on; the Airex balance pad is flat; it works by compressing specialized foam. Once your blance has improved, try balancing with your eyes closed ... it "super-charges" your workout. I was recovering from an ankle injury and the Airex balance pad was not only great for rehab, but it continues to be invaluable for maintaining my good balance. YAY!!

I use this product in hopes to regain balance that has been damaged from a car accident. Areas damaged: brain injury, back, motor neuron, leg muscles. It is clearly working the areas needed to reestablish a optimal feedback loop.
