Pros:
good size & density.
Cons:
can't be left in heat. split when left in hot ca.
Best Uses:
body rolling, shoulders. rolling in hips.
Describe Yourself:
yoga & pilates instructor. Massage Therapist.

Instruct clients to use ball for rolling places like around shoulders and hips where flat roller will not be as effective.

Answer:
yes, but this is not an inflated ball as used in Silver Sneakers. The inflatable ball is more versitile for SS use. I instructed SS classes for many years.

Answer:
these balls are very light weight... I'd have to guess, a few ounces at most. The are made of a dense material as the Eva foam roller (a bit more density than the cheap and flimsy white core foam rollers which flatten and warp with time) These balls will not change shape over time even with heavy use. They are a great tool for not only rolling in areas of the body that the core roller will not address, but as a sturdy ball for other uses in exercise where focus is helpful when held in the hand or under the foot etc.
