Female. Middle-aged. Needed shoulder PT. Not an exercise fanatic.

I learned about these balls from my Physical Therapist, when she used one for my shoulder rehab. I couldn't get enough of it and played with it every chance I got, thinking about how I could use it after my PT sessions were over. I bought the next two higher weight sizes in order to work up to them as I continue my home rehab exercises. They are perfect for the required tossing part and are just fun to use. I just have to remember not to toss them when my cats are around because the balls are deceptively as heavy as their dumbbell counterparts. But if you do drop them, there is no damage to the balls or the floors; they are extremely durable. I think they would be a fun easy way to introduce children to exercise with the easy-to-grip, bright colors and weight increments. I personally think the storage shelf for the set it too expensive, so I would MacGyver one if I had the whole set.
