The Gymnastik Ball was the first gymnastic ball produced in the world! Since its use began in Switzerland in the 1960s it was mistakenly called the “Swiss Ball” and the name continues to be used to this day.

These Gymnastik Balls are strong, resilient plastic balls are indispensable for a wide range of uses in fitness, therapy as well as therapeutic seating at the office, home or school. Of special interest is the Maxafe line of products, made with a patented Flexton Silpower material, to aid in slow deflation in case of ball puncture. Sold individually in polybag.

I bought this product to use as a birth ball to use for my homebirth. I will also purchase the next size up, as I may have selected the wrong size for its intended purpose, but I can certainly get use out of both of them! This product is excellent quality and is not like most exercise balls that collect every piece of dust and hair with which it comes in contact. I highly recommend the Maxafe Gymnastic Ball!
