This machine will go as easy or hard as you want. I had bought the other brand, Isokenitics, and it was a good machine but not enough resistance for me but perfect for my mother who is recovering from a stroke. This machine has plenty of resistance more for an exercise buff.

I bought this bike to use under my desk while reading at work. I needed to regain strength in my quads following a knee injury. My colleague recommended the bike, having own the previous version for about 10 years. This one is much improved: better stability, more resistance and smoother operation. So far, I have no complaints.

Best Uses:
Low Impact Exercise. Physical Therapy. General Fitness. Performance Training. Heart Rate Training. Weight Loss.
Describe Yourself:
Conditioning Exerciser.

I have lung disease and the only way to keep it at bay is exercise. I had bought the IOKENITIC version of this and while it was good it didn't have as much resistance as I needed. This machine has plenty of resistance. I get a really good workout with this, both cardio and upper body. Best part is that I can bring it with me when I'm not at home (as I have to exercise daily for lung function). This would be enough resistance, stability, for anyone.

Very quiet Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Easy To Use. Easy To Setup. Easy To Adjust. Quiet Operation. Smooth Operation.
Cons:
Moves. Too tall for under desk.
Best Uses:
Low Impact Exercise. Physical Therapy.
Describe Yourself:
Occasional Exerciser.

The cycle is easy to use but tends to move around when pedaling fast. The tether that came with it does not work on all seating arangements. I purchased this with plans to use it under my desk while seated at the computer for long periods, but it is too tall.
