This product does its job underwater, ONLY if you have the headphones crammed up your ear canal and your doing breathstroke; if you're doing the backstroke, the floodgates open and water comes rushing into your ears, at which point you cannot hear anything (and believe me, I've tried repositioning these in every way possible).
