What is the difference between the Biggest Loser - model of Jacobs ladder and the Jacobs Ladder that costs a thousand dollars more. I cannot find serial numbers on the two models being offered for sale.

One's probably commercial (the more expensive one) and the other is most likely a home version.

Biggest loser is a "home" version of the Jacobs Ladder. It is 4in. narrower to fit throught doorways and requires an electical outlet to power the electronics. Instead of Maple rungs they a steel covered with a durable yet pliable polyurethane. Mechanically they are identical and are incredibly durable, low maintenance machines. If you want the ability to place it anywhere you want or don't have a plug handy then the commercial version which is self-powered is your best choice. Currently we have one and love it, purchased direct from manufacturer. The info above came directly from the manufacturer as well.
