How the Perfect Pushup Works
The Perfect Pushup uses rotating hand grips which allow your arms to rotate during a pushup the same way they naturally twist when you throw a punch or press up a dumb bell. This works more muscles and reduces strain on your joints - maximizing your workout. Your rotator cuff and scapular muscles are fully recruited during the pushup, and this muscle recruitment helps engage larger muscles such as the triceps (arms), deltoids (shoulders), pectorals (chest), and latissimus (back) muscles.
The rotating bases of the Perfect Pushup allow your muscles to rotate through their natural arc. When you allow your muscles to fire through their natural arc your muscles reach full power potential while minimizing the stress on your joints, ligaments and tendons. Examples of your natural arc of movement is throwing a punch, swinging a golf club, or pressing dumbbells.
Step 1
Conduct a One Set Max - Do as many pushups as you
can do in the Regular Position as depicted on the Perfect Pushup
Poster.

form checklist – remember it’s about quality, not
quantity )!
Step 2
Select your Workout Routine - Go to the Workout
Chart on the bottom of the poster and select the number of pushups that
is closest to your one set max – ( round up/down according to
your form ). E.g. your one set max was 12 regular position pushups
– round down to 10 and follow the "10 rep" max. If your one
set max was 15 – be honest with yourself about how well you
maintained your form throughout your one set max – if you had
good form – round up/poor form round down.
Step 3
Follow the Workout Calendar – the Perfect
Pushup workout calendar tells you exactly what to do each day. In ten
workouts you should start to see Rippin results – if you
don’t, you’re not putting out!
These routines are designed after SEAL Team 2-minute drills – each routine lasts two minutes – and are based on the principle that the quality of the exercise is more important than the quantity. They are designed to exhaust your muscles to help you get Ripped faster. You’ll get these results so long as you stay to true to yourself and maintain proper form. There’s no shame in going to the knees to complete the drill – there’s only shame in allowing yourself to accept poor form! Put out with Perfect form and you’re on the way to Getting Ripped!
