The Suction Cup Grab Bars provides assistance and added safety in or outside of the home. The versatility of the Drive suction cup grab bar allows for use on a shower wall; mounted on the tub, as a temporary towel bar; or near a chair or stairwell for assistance when standing or climbing stairs. Release levers make installing and removing the portable suction cup grab bars easy. The telescoping bar allows for one or two handed use while the large suction cups provide superior adhesion. Portable, quickly, and easily installed, the Drive suction cup grab bar provides superior balance assistance for just about anywhere you want to go.
Works best on smooth surfaces. May not suction to textured walls/tile.

I read great reviews of this product. However, I discovered that your tub or shower must be flat for the suction cups to adhere. Those of us with tile shower walls of 1-4 inches are out of luck with this product. [...] It's expensive, so be sure the surface you want to use the suction grips on is completely flat with no seams or grout lines.

I needed this because I am having difficulty moving around and need a total hip replacement. I was afraid I would fall in the shower because I couldn't steady myself but I didn't want to drill holes for grab bars. At first I couldn't get this product to stick. I called the manufacturer and was told to clean the suction pad with alcohol. That was all it needed! The Product is wonderful and I am comfortably secure. What I really like about this product was the ability to move it around to find the most comfortable spot for me to place the grab bar. It's so important not to overreach when I am trying to steady myself. After reading several reviews from many places, I chose this product due to it's sturdiness and reliability. Allegro sent the product to me immediately and for the right price. I would recommend them highly.

works fine, once you figure out how to get suction. however, you cant leave it on the wall forever,as it will eventually lose suction and fall to the ground damaging the floor (if its a wood floor). you hav to be mindful to remove it after each use.

I tried this product for my mother. It came off the wall of the shower during use one time. She lost confidence in it. It appears big and heavy duty but the suction does not hold very long. You must reattach it for each use and then test it. I would only recommend it for portable uses while travelling with no other more reliable choice available.

I broke my foot recently, and needed to feel and be more secure in the shower, but did not want to install permanent grab bars into our tiled shower. This installs easily and is very solid. Best of all, I was able to take it with me on a recent trip to temporarily install and use in hotel showers! I am going to purchase another one to temporarily install in the guest shower when my mother-in-law visits. Great product!

My father refused to allow us to drill "holes" and screws into the fiberglass shower. These were perfect for our use. I liked the ability to adjust and move them to where they worked best for him. I did have to lean hard onto one wall to get the best suction and securement due to a small wave within the wall. I wish there was something similar to these for dry wall surface walls by the commode. Another area he will not allow us to drill holes into.

- The suction cups allow assistance without having to drill holes in the bath enclosure and allows the grab bars to be readjusted as required without any damage to the walls.
