Answer:
Hello Michelle: I purchased this item from Allegro and I am glad I did. My husband also had a stroke 13 months ago and his right side is affected. He was losing the muscle mass in his right hand. This product has significantly improved his fingers and hand strength. We have had it about a month. My husband is bedridden but will use it while he is watching his TV in bed. So, Yes, I recommend this item. Thanks for listening.

Answer:
Yeah, but they come with different weight resistance strengths with the colors (1.5 lbs.-9 lbs.). You might wanna start with the lightest weight resistance.
