I use this for a person who sits a lot so she won't get any skin break-down.She even sleeps on it.It is washable which is great.

This pad is soft and silky, but it in no way whatsoever resembles sheepskin; it lacks the tufted texture necessary to provide air space ventilation under the body. If you need synthetic sheepskin, try "unreal lambskin" from [@] (item ALP201) or elsewhere. It costs about the same as this product, but is far more like real sheepskin.
