I love these pads but it seems that the texture or softness depends on the color you order. The dark green ones are stiff and rough, the tan ones are soft.

Yes, even better it's urineproof, up to a certain point. After it reaches capacity it will leak. It's sufficient for small accidents. And you can pick up a wet one by the dry side & not get damp. Sorry, I don't know what the liquid capacity is.

I ordered one 2 years ago that was 2 inches smaller than this and better construction quality. Did Invacare change their product?? This time, it is too big. Also, the box says Medium. Where can I get a small one? it's not an option here.

Top color is dark (hunter) green, then slate (greyish) blue, then mauve (pinkish beige), bottom is medium brown. Yes, wish it came in black so it isn't so obvious on wc seat. Brown is a good choice if bowel accidents are a possibility...not to be rude, just practical.

It is 22" X 21". Mine came totally clean using laundry detergent with enzyme action, warm wash/cold rinse. I would be afraid that bleach would deteriorate the grippy bottom surface, or discolor it. Mine have been very durable--look virtually the same as when I bought them, maybe a year ago? I have several which I rotate.
