The Kendall Wings Pads features a two-part absorbency system and is available in three levels of protection, Regular, Day Plus and Night Super. Wings Pads contoured shape, padded wing areas and elastic leg gathers provide effective and convenient protection for ambulatory people.


The Kendall Wings Pads are designed to be worn either with Mesh Pants or similar control undergarments. Wings Pads contain super-absorbent polymer for maximum fluid retention, while reducing odor and keeping wetness away from skin.

I used the wing pads for my elderly mother who was hospitalized with a catheter. When she came home she was not able to use her bedpan, so I kept these pads (opened) under her with the Ultra-sorb bedpads under the wing pads. It made it easier to change her, and with the Ultra-sorbs as added protection, it saved us from having to change her sheets. But they can cause skin breakdodwn if left on too long, so you need to watch for that.

Overall this is a great product which works very well. I do wish the absorbency material didn't break down when dry. My mom wears these for possible accidents and if she has frequency going to the bathroom after pulling them up and down repeatedly you need to throw them out even tho they are not really soiled because the cotton breaks down. This is probably true with any of the products.
