The under-the-mattress Sensor Pad detects your baby's slightest movements, and the Nursery Unit receives the signal and sounds a no-movement alarm that is picked up by the portable Parents Unit. The Movement Sensor with Sound Monitor is 2 monitors in 1 because the Nursery Unit also acts as a sound monitor by picking up other sounds such as the baby crying, and transmitting them to the portable parents unit.
