Baby Hugger - Maternity Support


BabyHugger provides a unique, central lift that takes the weight off the back, bladder, veins and ligaments to help you feel better and look better during your pregnancy. Baby Hugger protects the ligaments from overstretching. This helps to prevent aging incontinence, stretch marks, vericose veins, edema, and other discomforts later in life. Wearing a maternity support means better health now and in the future.

Protect Your Baby! Moms report less frequent and less severe pre-term contractions. Baby Hugger is recommended by doctors, nurses, physical therapists, midwives, childbirth educators, massage therapists and moms. The cool, cotton underpant collects the weight of the belly, while the strap lifts the belly weight softly to the shoulder. The crotch panel opens and re-closes for bathroom use.

Care Instructions: Straps: Hand wash and hang to dry. Underpants: Wash gently in cool water without bleach. Tumble dry in cool dryer.

Content: Underpants are 92% cotton, 8% lycra. All elastics are latex-free.

I'm not happy with this belt because it's too big for me.I order small because I'm in last trimester and I thought that I need a bigger size.I usually wear size 2 or 4.It's hard to put it on and I don't feel any support.It so big that it's showing under my clothes.Also it bother's me when it's around my belly and I want to take if off.I will return if I can.My doctor recommended that I should wear that belt but I can not do it.

Had to get this b/cz my lower uterine segment is abnormal 2' previous c-section and b/cz I have a neurogenic bladder 2' multiple sclerosis. It has decreased the #of contractions, and I can definitely tell the difference when I don't wear it for a few mins (like taking a shower).

The product if not to large would have been very useable and needed at the time. It runs a little large. The sizing needs to be adjusted some.

I tried several ways of wearing the product with the different levels of velcro and connection, but was never satisfied that it "hugged" enough. I never felt a change in support, and have read that because they are made big, you need to purchase a much smaller size than you actually are. I purchased a Small, normally wearing a size 6 dress, and I probably should have purchased an XSmall. However, because I'm so close to baby delivery now, I won't even bother with trying to exchange the item.
