the best thing to buy is a fetal doppler .. you can rent them online for about $30.00 a month and you can hear baby's heart beat everyday but this thing doesn't work until you are like 8.5 months pregnant!!!!

I could hear our baby's heart beat at 4 months. I never had a problem distinguishing my fiances heart beat and stomach from our baby's heartbeat.
