Phoenix 3 Wheel Scooter
The Phoenix 3 Wheel Scooter is the newest addition to the Drive Medical line of scooters. This 4 piece compact design makes for easy assembly/disassembly so you can take your Phoenix scooter with you on the go! Each Phoenix scooter comes with both red and blue interchangeable color plates so you decide how your scooter looks. Comes with a easy to remove wireless battery box that can be charged separate from the scooter.
The Phoenix 3 Wheel Scooter features a stackable battery box that allows for an optional battery for increased range. For added safety, the Phoenix Scooter comes with a headlight, so you never have to drive in the dark again. Comfortable height adjustable, upgraded seat with flip back, adjustable width arms. Top speed on the Phoenix scooter is 4 mph and a cruising range up to 15 miles on one battery. Comes standard with anti tippers, flat free tires and a carry basket.

This scooter has been ideal for me. It travels well in the back of our sedan and provides enough mobility when I need it. I like that this model came with a head lamp as some of the other travel-type scooters did not offer this amenity.

I DECIDED NOT TO PURCHASE ANOTHER GO GO 3 WHEELER AND DECIDED TO TRY THIS ONE INSTEAD. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. THE ONE DRAW BACK IS THAT WHEN I BACK UP IN THE HOUSE IT DOES MAKE A BACK UP NOISE AND EARLY IN THE MORNING EVERYONE CAN HEAR IT. OTHERWISE I JUST LOVE THIS 3 WHEELER.
IT WILL BE VERY USEFUL WHEN I DO GO DOWNSTAIRS TO THE FAMILY ROOM AND THE OTHER TWO BEDROOMS AND TO TAKE IT OUTSIDE IN MY BACK YARD.

Although, I haven't owned this item long, I can already tell that it's a great product. I recently had back surgery that failed. The Drive mobility scooter is perfect for my shopping and traveling, because I can not walk without a cane or walker or go any great distance on my own. Since it breaks down into several light weight parts, it's easy to transport. I feel like it's the answer to getting some part of my life back. I am very pleased with this product.

I use the scooter around the home which greatly saves my energy. I purchased a lift that goes in the trunk of my car that transports my scooter when I need it's use at grocery stores, restaurants and other retail stores.

Both 3 and 4 wheel mobility scooters are generally stable. While the 4 wheel models may be slightly more stable, 3 wheel scooters have tighter turning capabilities. For general use in-door and out-door, 3 wheel scooters are great. For use on rough terrain and uneven surface a 4 wheel scooter will perform better.
