The 8" Contoured Wrist/Forearm Brace - Ultra Suede is perfect for carpal tunnel, mild to moderate injuries to the wrist/hand and post-cast healing. Features velcro straps with loop lock closures. Comfortable fit with excellent support and Contoured below palmar crease to allow 90 degree flexion.

I need to use a wrist brace on each arm when I sleep at night to prevent me from bending my wrists and pinching the nerves. Without the braces I will wake with both hands asleep. I tried drug store wrist braces and they were not nearly as well made as these. Also, the velcro closures last - unlike with the drug store variety. I find the braces comfortable if I do not cinch them too tight. They are stiff - which is what I need. So applying them a tad loose works for me.

Post surgery, and still with non healed broken Ulna, I have to have 23 hour brace. I use the Exform, but felt that this looked less bulky for 'dressing up'! Also, needed a a second brace, to change pressure etc.
It runs large. My fault, not the brace.
It is not padded very, much, so felt very stiff to start with, but, as worn, I realise that the stifness, stops any slipping. I wear a Wristie, underneath it. Wish I had ordered smaller though.

I purchased a brace as a replacement to one that I had gotten for my carpal-tunnel since the original I had gotten a year ago was starting to break down from the wear and use. This would be a great replacement, except that it has even more support than the one I had received from my doctor, thus limiting my range of movement just a little too much. I use this one when I don't have a lot of activity planned, or when my wrist starts to feel particularly sore, but I still have to use the one from my doctor for general use.
On a side note, this one was about half as expensive as the one I had to pay for from my doctor.
It was worth getting, just for those really bad days.

I was going to use this product to sleep in and while I typed on the PC. However, the contour of the bottom splint does not fit my arm and causes the bottom to dig into my arm. The area around the hand is too stiff and causes pain around the knuckles at the base of the fingers.
