I play golf and have low arches. Often time the back of my golf shoe will cause achilles tendenitis on the back of my heel from walking up and down hills on the golf course. The heel sleeve is very comfortable to wear and provided a great deal of protection to that part of my heel.It prevented further agrevation of the tendon and reduced the pain of my existing injury..I liked it alot.. But not a cure and would still use ice if heel is hurting..
