I had a hip replacement, three years ago and my right leg, where the replacement is, became shorter than my right. I do competitive dog obedience and my balance and smoothness was pretty much gone. This heel lift, has made all the difference in the world, in my Obedience training and showing and just walking. Much smoother walking, Very easy to use and I would never be without one or several, for the rest of my life. You can use only one and just put it under the insole, from shoe to shoe. I also fell a lot and now feel so much better with balance.
