I had bunion surgery and wore my first boot for 12 weeks. It ripped near the metal shaft after 10 weeks of constant wear but my husband taped it for me & I squeaked out the last 2 weeks. I broke the area around the surgical site & needed another boot! After only ONE week it is ripping at the same spot near the metal shaft. What is wrong with this design or is it inferior materials? How can you heal in a boot that falls apart?
