Comfort Cool Wrist & Thumb CMC Splint


The Comfort Cool Wrist & Thumb CMC Splint provides additional support for the wrist while allowing full finger function. Unique one piece wraparound supports feature a contoured strap that wraps around the thumb CMC joint and the first metacarpal for direct joint support. Reinforced stitching allows the splint to be trimmed below the thumb MP joint. Made of thin, 1/16" (1.6mm) perforated neoprene with a terrycloth liner that helps keep skin cool and comfortable. Latex free.

I use this splint when I need flexibility (e.g. cooking), something less obtrusive (e.g. dining out), or when I'm getting my hands dirty and want to be able to wash and dry a splint quickly. I also have a more rigid splint that rests my wrist better. I like having the combination of the two to wear for different purposes.

this is a replacement of a pair that I bought a couple of years ago. I like the longer thumbs and use them on the opposite hands. the fit is better and I can wrap them easier. these are used while sleeping to keep my wrists from getting bent into odd angles.
