A nurse's aide and I use these to restrain my husband's arms while bathing him in bed. The fabric is very soft against his fragile skin but the metal fasteners are difficult to secure, especially with a patient. The webbing that goes through the two metal slots of the fastener ravels and shreds, making it hard to thread and tighten. It is equally hard to remove them. I am planning to cut off the fasteners and sewing on the kind of two-part plastic closures used on backpacks-- the kind that click together. Wish the manufacturer had done this.
