Dorsal Resting Splint Why a dorsal splint? There are two main issues with traditional volar splints: pressure from the splint surface can increase tone in the wrist and finger flexors and the splint traps heat and sweat. Our new dorsal splint allows for maximum range of motion without triggering flexor spacticity because contact is on the dorsal surface of the hand and wrist. And because the volar system is open to air, the hand stays cooler and drier and wearer compliance is better.

Splint is easily put on and removed without painful prying of the fingers. Simply slip fingers through the opening and gently lift into extension. Secure the straps and splint is in place. Integrated thumb piece allows the thumb to rest naturally in slight flexion and opposition without the risk of breakdown.
