While this night splint is easy to use, light weight and extremely effective it is very hard to sleep while wearing. I find I cannot be under the sheets, I need to cover up with a loose blanket, and side sleeping (which I do) is impossible if you must wear a splint on both legs (like I do). The product works tho so I will continue to use it.

since wearing the night splint I have not had any problems in the morning making my first steps out of bed. I wear it nightly, the plantar fascitis has been steadly getting better and bone spur as well. Wish i knew about it sooner. Not hard to sleep in, easy to put it on.

I've been using this product on both feet for several months after suffering with what I thought was incurable plantar fasciitis for several years. I first tried the Night Splint Socks, that seemed like they'd be more comfortable. I couldn't adjust them tight enough to flex my ankles as much as necessary without bending my toes so much that they became numb. The Form Fit Night Splint boots are much more effective, and I'm virtually symptom free after just a few months of use. I noticed significant improvement after only a week or so. I mostly wear them while sleeping but initially also wore them on occasion while watching TV. They take some getting used to, since they will make your feet warmer and, well, you have rather clunky plastic and foam boots on your feet. I got the ones with the rubber soles for nighttime trips to the bathroom. You can walk in them, but this too takes some getting used to. Walking on your toes seems to work best. The straps can be easily adjusted to fit your feet and control the amount of flexing of your ankles. Adjustments take some experimentation, and it's easy to overtighten the straps forcing one to take the boots off in the middle of the night when your feet hurt. It would be better if they produced left and right foot models so that the strap buckles could be on the insides of both feet. As they are, the left foot boot is easy to buckle, while the right foot is more difficult and takes some getting used to. If washed the liners and strap pads once in the washing machine, and they came out fine.
