The Basic Accommodator is an all-day orthosis with these effective features: a contoured heel cup to cradle and stabilize the heel; smoothly shaped longitudinal arch to support the arch and relieve fatigue; a mild transverse arch to support and reduce unnecessary pressure from the metatarsal heads; and a carefully sculpted relief at the base of the fifth metatarsal to avoid unnecessary, irritating pressure.

The Basic Accommodator is also the softest half sole orthosis in the FREEDOM line - making it an excellent geriatric foot support. It is also clinically proven to be an effective tool in the treatment of plantar fascititis. Orthosis material molds to any high pressure points, enhancing total contact, and can generally be used without modification.
