The FREEDOM Boxer Fracture Prefab Orthosis was built for quick, efficient immobilization of common metatarsal fractures. Rigid Kydex® shell immobilizes and protects the fracture and surrounding joints. T-Foam™ padded interior adds comfort, support, and conformity to the fracture volume. In hard-to-fit cases, the shell may be gently heated (with heat gun) and reshaped. Sized to accommodate swelling.

Indications and usage: Most useful when applied to fourth and fifth metacarpal fractures (including Boxer's fracture) when the fracture is half to two-thirds healed and there is inherent fracture stability or the swelling hsa begun to subside.

Fitting Instructions: Adhesive-backed, pressure-sensitive padding is included with each orthosis to allow angular corrections to be made to the fracture site.

Sizing: Measure circumference of hand at MPs. Medium, 7"-9"; Large, 9"-10 1/2".
