Airform Ankle/Foot Night Splint Reviews Summary

( Powered by PowerReviews.com)

not good for sleeping

Pros:
Lightweight.
Cons:
Too tight.
Describe Yourself:
Stand all day at work.

Wanted the splint for sleeping for plantar fasciitis relief. Toe portion way to tight and not adjustable. I tried to modify it, but it still wakes me up at night from toe/ball of foot pain. Also allows to much foot relaxation.

poor design

Describe Yourself:
Average Health.

I would not recommend this product. It does not hold the foot up at a tight enough angle to stretch the achilles tendon. There's nothing to keep the whole thing from slipping down unless you really cinch the top strap and that's not comfortable. The velcro is sharp and really scratchy and gets caught on things. Incredibly stupid design.

"Can walk in it" Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy. Safe. Lightweight.
Best Uses:
While watching tv.
Describe Yourself:
Medical Professional.

I like that I can get up to go to the kitchen or to the bathroom without taking it off every time.I was looking for one I could walk in and this does the job.

Uncomfortable

Pros:
Lightweight.
Cons:
Uncomfortable.
Best Uses:
Plantar fasciitis.
Describe Yourself:
Average Health.

I found this very uncomfortable in the toe area. It squished my toes and caused irratition. I had to put paper towel around my toes to cushion them. Also it kept sliding down and last night the hard split part split in half which makes me mad as I maybe used it 50 nights. This should not have broke--geesh I was only sleeping. I would never recommend this product. I bought a differnt one on here instead to try. The comfort x ankle splint.

Best Uses:
Night time splint. Emergency.

Found the same product at a store for 150.00, wouldn't pay that price for it. I use it at night and in the evening when relaxing, to keep the tendon stretched out

Not bad Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Lightweight.
Cons:
Flimsy.
Best Uses:
Resting.
Describe Yourself:
Athletic.

The splint seems comfortable at first, but wakes me up at night. I think the wide straps don't breathe and get too hot. The splint allows too much foot drop to be effective. It is OK when I watch TV to keep my foot comfortable.
