AliMed FREEDOM Wrist Immobilizer--Long (10")

FREEDOM Wrist Immobilizers ensure cast-like support for the wrist after cast removal. For wrist sprains/strains and to control carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms.

Unlike other canvas and vinyl wrist suppports, FREEDOM Wrist Immobilizers not only fit well but also provide support to maintain the wrist in neutral during the healing process. Tough, durable, perforated vinyl exterior. Cloth liner with multiple perforations ensures this splint will be exceptionally comfortable.

Tailored to allow unimpeded thumb rotation and full MP joint motion. Splint opening along the radial border reduces the potential for pressure over the radial nerve during extended wear. Machine washable. Dual metal stays can be adjusted if indicated. Light gray.

FREEDOM Short Wrist Immobilizer (8") for general purpose use. Use after cast removal for wrist fractures and mild to severe wrist sprains/strains and cumulative trauma syndrome.

FREEDOM Long Wrist Immobilizer (10") Use after cast removal for distal forearm fractures or whenever extra support is needed.

Sizing: Measure wrist circumference. Match to appropriate size below.

My hsuband fractured his wrist at work and took some time to get the workaman comp insurance etc for xrays, etc. This provided the perfect support past his wrist. he is muscular so it was difficult finding a splint that imobilized properly
