Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational.

Since 2006, after 3 surgeries to repair a non-healing comminuted wrist/ulna/radius fracture, I have been in a gutter splint (allows finger ROM, but stops wrist rotation). I really wanted a cooler, lightweight version for the very hot summers. This unit does a super job! Since my ulna is reabsorbing, I ordered a unit for my opposite hand. It was amazingly simple to fit. As I wanted the splint to be as cool as possible, I actually trimmed it back and added 3 neoprene straps on the volar side. Althought this is *not* the best way to use this unit, I was pleased that, despite my customization, it still works perfectly. NOTE: DO NOT CUSTOMIZE ANY SPLINT UNLESS YOU HAVE MEDICAL (OT/PT) ADVICE. My OT was so impressed with this unit her company is ordering them to keep as a stock unit. In short, this is excellent product.
