Exoform Dorsal Night Splint
The Exoform Dorsal Night Splint is a functional and comfortable solution that addresses the common problems associated with other bracing options, including lack of adjustability, uncomfortable or painful pressure points and product migration and rotation that diminish product effectiveness and compliance.
The Exoform Dorsal Night Splint is ideal for treatment of Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, Drop Foot and Post Static Pain:
- Semi-rigid plantar pad reduces discomfort along the sides of the foot while providing an improved angle of dorsiflexion
- Non-slip surface on plantar pad to help prevent slipping
- Aesthetically superior, low-profile design
Integrated support shell with adjustable aluminum stay maintains the therapeutic angle of the foot and lower leg at 85° to 90°
Thermoformed Form Fit padding on the inside of the soft good improves patient comfort
Full calf and heel strapping holds the foot in the desired angle and eliminates rotation and migration of the product
Flex Edge overmolding eliminates pressure points and discomfort while protecting sleeping partners
- Medium - Men's: 5 to 9 - Women's: 6 to 10

The hard (inadequately padded) curved brace over the top of the foot causes foot numbness after a few hours of use. Pressure imposed by the elastic velcro straps is the cause. The numbness turns to pain in the top of the foot after a couple hours of sleep that will wake you up. Loosening the velcro straps reduces the bracing effectiveness of the splint. Adding extra socks won't help to protect the top of the foot from this pressure. The product works well for about two to four hours until the pain starts. The top part of the foot isn't designed by nature to handle pressure effectively so beware when considering this product.

Aneurysm survivor. Do need assistance putting it on but comfortable and can ambulate safely at night. Make sure you order large enough if you are over a 10 or 10.5.

My compliance went from minimal using some other splints to 100% using the excellently designed Exoform dorsal night splint. Because it is lightweight and streamlined, it is unobtrusive while sleeping with a spouse. Because of the placement of the plastic support on the front, one can walk on it to a restroom during the night.
