Product Overview

AliMed Leg Length Lifts

Leg Length Lifts

Leg Length Lifts provide a 1⁄2" lift to individuals with leg length discrepancies. Similar products achieve only 1⁄4" or 3⁄8" of lift and do not provide the necessary support to the mid-foot. They can also raise the foot too high without properly supporting the arch, which can put dangerous pressure on the metatarsal heads. These maximum height pads offer the proper support by approximating the plantar contours of the normal hindfoot and midfoot.

Use bilaterally for plantar heel pain or Achilles tendon problems. Flexible, molded polyurethane construction. Left or Right. Black.

No more limping

Pros:
Sturdy. Easy To Use. Lightweight. Safe.
Best Uses:
Daily Use.
Describe Yourself:
Average Health.

I use the product mostly when working as I walk a great deal or when I have a long day of leisure walking/standing planned. It takes stress off my hip and back joints as my left leg is 1/2 an inch shorter than my right leg. Buying shoes to accomodate it is tricky; but less expensive than having several pair of shoes with built-in orthodics.

Works great

Pros:
Easy To Use. Lightweight.
Cons:
None.
Best Uses:
Daily Use. Women.
Describe Yourself:
Elderly. Value Oriented.

Lift is perfect hight, very comfortable, works well in my tennis shoes, may be to wide for heels. I wear a boot brace on my right foot so I can't wear slender fancy shoes. Will be ordering another for my house shoes. I also order the heel lifts but they don't do the job. sorry. I wear 81/2 shoe and ordered the medium. Hope that helps with with sizing. 😊

Better than expectations! Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Stays in place. Easily transferred.
Cons:
No negatives.
Best Uses:
Uneven leg length.
Describe Yourself:
Elderly. Average Health.

Works better than expected to even out leg length. Love the fact that it stays in place and can be transferred from shoe to shoe to slipper. Can't think of a thing that I don't like about it.

Excellent Orthotic! Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Sturdy. Lightweight.
Best Uses:
Following Surgery. One Shorter Leg.
Describe Yourself:
Average Health. Ruptured Achilles.

I began using this on my "good foot" while in a boot cast after rupturing my Achilles tendon. The boot made the ruptured leg longer and this orthotic helped to even the length of my legs. When my orthopedist saw the orthotic, he suggested that I purchase another for the mending leg once I was out of the boot cast. I now wear the lift in both shoes while my Achilles continues to mend. The lift fits my shoes perfectly, is a perfect thickness and is more comfortable than other lifts I've tried. It is also very durable. Highly recommend!

Answer:
I purchased the medium. The heel width at the bottom is 1 1/2" and angles up to 2" at the top of the lift so it fits shoes OK. It has a full arch support so if putting it into shoes with good arch support, it fits very tight. Best for boots or loose shoes.

Answer:
They are a sturdy "rubberery" material, not self stick, but have a good heel cup so they don't slide forward; easy to move to other shoes.

Question:
I need a size Med according to your chart, but since it is the same for men and women, I am concerned that the heel will be too wide for my shoes. Would I be better off ordering a Small so this would not happen?

Answer:
I was worried about that too. I wear a 81/2 tennis shoe, I ordered a med. fits my shoe perfect. Took out shoe liner so shoe doesn't fit tight.
