Imak Pil-O-Splint

Rest and night splinting remain the #1 doctor-recommended conservative treatment of Carpal Pil-O-Splint Tunnel Syndrome. The patented Pil-O-Splint was rated to be the most effective nighttime splint for the treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (click here to read more). It provides exceptional comfort and maximum pain relief during rest and sleep.

Key Benefits of Imak Pil-O-Splint:

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Arthritis
  • Tendinitis
  • Stroke Hand

The Pil-O-Splint was designed by Ian MacMorran, MD, an orthopedic and hand surgeon to help his patients sleep throughout the night. This exceptionally comfortable Pil O Splint wrist splint provides pain relief throughout the night leaving you rested and ready for a productive day.

The patented Pil-O-Splint is shaped for maximum healing benefits by gently immobilizing the wrist, hand, and fingers in a neutral position. Its unique design prevents you from holding your hand in a harmful position while sleeping.

Nocturnal splinting of the wrist is commonly used to treat carpal tunnel syndrome. Rationales for overnight wrist splinting are based on several research studies, which suggest that passively and actively sustained positions of the wrist and digits during sleep contribute to elevated carpal tunnel pressures.

The Pil-O-Splint is made of soft and comfortable, breathable foam and cotton lining. Slides on and off easily, fits either hand, machine washable. Latex free. The Pil-O-Splint comes in one size.

Features of the Pil O Splint:

  • Shaped for maximum healing benefits during rest and sleep to ease wrist and hand pain caused by repetitive motion injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, tendinitis and stoke hand.
  • Two rigid dorsal stays gently immobilize the wrist, hand and fingers in a comfortable neutral healing position
  • Unique design extends to fingertips to prevent finger clenching and harmful positions of the hand while sleeping
  • Slides on and off easily. Universal, fits either hand
  • Fits most hands with the forearm circumference up to 12”

I showed this to my physician and she agreed it was an excellent way to manage my nighttime hand clenching problem. Rather than waking up with my hands in tight fists, I am preventing the clenching.

I purchased this product because I forsee a future with little medical help when you need it. My husband calls mothers like me the 'Sarah Conners' we're pretty pro-active. Hopefully I'll never have to use this product but have tried it on and seems pretty comfortable and if one of my members falls and gets a sprained wrist or arm, I'll pull it out and after the ice-pack and ibupropen to keep down the inflammation; on it will go so that the hurt person will have some relief and protection. It fits both left and right handed people. It's a little large for a person my size,(I ordered large on purpose) but it can be altered and made tighter by adding velcro straps. For a medium to large man, it's perfect. D~

My wife's therapist stated my wife had to straighten her hands as prolonged clenching becomes very painful and eventually would be unable to open it. Could see this happening already to a degree. Found this ordered it works great. Therapist stated worked as well as the $125 item they used and told her where I had obtained it, her boss was very pleased with the information. Good Wrist Splint, finger support fair Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Lightweight.
Best Uses:
Following Surgery. Elderly.
Describe Yourself:

I am happy with this splint for the wrist support. It does a very good job to protect and support the wrist and thumb joint. However, it does not support the fingers very well. I feel it could be padded more under the four fingers, without being like a glove. I purchased this splint to resist my fingers to paralysis overnight, but I must stuff the open hand to better support and protect my fingers for it to work like I need.

Doesn't provide the support I was hoping Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Lightweight.

My hand/arm is very loose inside this product and flops all around. I don't get the support in it to provide overnight relief.
