The Palumbo™ Brace is a proven treatment aid for patellofemoral dysfunction.* Neoprene support helps prevent patella dislocation, reduces chondromalacia and tendinitis, and provides compression and support.

When used for patellofemorral dysfunction, the Palumbo Brace frequently brings permanent relief and prevents irreversible pathologic changes. Carefully tailored to ensure long and comfortable wear.

Indications: Subluxation and dislocation of the patella, patellofemoral chondromalacia and arthritis, patellar and retinacular tendinitis, post-operative management (lateral release, transfer).

Cons:
Hard to figure out. No instructions.

There were no care instructions and no wear instructions. Once I got the wrap off, I couldn't figure out how to get it back on. If worn improperly a knee brace can hurt your knee instead of help.

I purchased this brace for my husband. He had an ACL reconstruction ages ago when they used IT Band for the graft. Because of the scarring at the graft harvest site, his knee cap is chronically laterally shifted. Wearing this brace has allowed him to run without pain. And has even completed a half marathon!
