Polar Ice - Ice Therapy


Polar Ice delivers the benefits of cryotherapy with compression for soft tissue trauma. By reducing pain and controlling edema or swelling, cold therapy allows faster return of normal function. Encapsulated ice packs filled with purified water are encased in soft fleece material that eliminates migration of ice wrap during use. Easily adjusted with Velcro® straps, fleece wrap conforms to body and insulates skin to prevent frost bite. Use post-surgically, during rehabilitation and following physical activity. Effective to provide pain relief for bruises, sprains or injuries requiring cold therapy. Polar Ice is reusable and extra ice packs can be purchased separately.

I recently had knee replacement surgery. I ordered the extra large knee and it wrapped completely around my knee. Worked fantastically. the ice pack from the hospital was much smaller and only covered either the top OR bottom of my knee. This does both at the same time, swelling was more quickly reduced.

JUST GREAT, PERFECT, EASY TO APPLY AND IT STAYS COLD LONG ENOUGH TO ALTERNATE ICE, HEAT, ICE, HEAT(20-30 MINUTES EACH). I BOUGHT ONE FOR EACH KNEE AND ITS JUST THE BEST THING ALONG WITH A HEATING PAD FOR AFTER RUNNING OR OTHER KNEE STRESS WORK. JUST PERFECTLY PUT TOGETHER, THE ICE PACK FILLERS, THE VELCRO STRAPS AND EVEN THE COLORS. ITS JUST ONE OF MY BEST BUYS EVER! BRAVO!

I use this product to ice various parts of my body after working out at the gym or other hardcore physical activities. These ice packs stay cold for at least an hour, are comfortable, and with the velcro straps stay on allowing you to do things with them on. The particular size I ordered, standard knee, can be used on the knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and various other parts of the body. Rather than use a gel insert, this product uses little packets of distilled water which work very well, but can break. Those packets can be replaced. You can purchase new ones and slide them right into the sleeve. The packets can also be removed so that the sleeve can be washed. Overall it is a great product and Allegro had a great price[...]

I suffer with chronic knee pain and swelling. We keep the ice packs in the freezer and they are ready to use when I need them. These were a tremendous help after I over used my knees climbing a ladder to paint the house.
