Best Uses:

I use stockinettes daily under a splint that keeps my hand immobile relieving the pain from arthritis. I cut them easily and toss after one use since they are economical for my budget.

A Basic Necessity That Works! Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Easy To Use. Effective. Comfortable. Eliminates Hotspots. Makes Splints Cooler.
Best Uses:
Following Surgery. Daily Use.
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational.

Since 2003, I have been in one or another type of wrist/forearm splint. Since 2006, I have been in gutter splint. Without these "socks," plastic splints are downright uncomfortable. In the summer, splints become very sweaty -- a problem this product eliminates. Yes, "socks" do fray and stretch, but despite this, they often last for 3-4 washings. Oddly, this is a hard item to find and the price here was less that several other sites and much less than my local stores. Bottom line: buy it, use it; you'll be glad you did.

Too narrow Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Easy Storage. Lightweight.
Cons:
Too small.
Best Uses:
Under Elastic Bandages.
Describe Yourself:
disabled.

I have lymphodema in my legs and have to wrap them every night. The sock product keeps the bandages from injuring my legs, but I think I need a wider version. These are just a little tight. I probably just ordered the wrong thing.

OK - could be a little softer Verified Purchaser

Pros:
Easy To Use. Doesn't stretch too much.
Cons:
Stiff finish not soft.
Best Uses:
Daily Use. Wicks moisture for splint.
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational.

Need stockinette tubes to line arm splint and leg splint to wick away moisture and avoid chafing. Does the job, but not as soft as ones that were given to me at hospital.
