Difficult to apply with one hand. Caregiver must assist. Once in place it seems to be comfortable and doing the job of separating fingers and relaxing wrist.

I am using this for a stroke patient to stretch his wrist and fingers to a neutral position. He and his caregiver like it because it is easy to apply, washable, and he can feel it is benefiting him.

Good Product

Pros:
Lightweight. Sturdy. Safe. Easy Storage. Adjustable. Breathable.
Cons:
Size Chart Difficulty.
Best Uses:
Carpal Tunnel.
Describe Yourself:
Meat Processer.

I'm Happy with this product! I'm a meat pocesser by trade, I use them to keep my hands from fisting up at night. They keep my wrist hand and fingers stright all night so I'm not waking up with aching hands in the morning. I especially like the finger seperators. I also found that it's easiest to adjusted them to fit and then just slip them on and off like a glove.

Question:
I have contracture of the ring and little finger on my right hand from a severed ulnar nerve about a year ago. Although I use a rigid splint at night made by an occupational therapist I was seeing, and use fixed, foam individual finger splints during the day, both devices hurt a lot or cause numbness to the rest of my hand, so I will remove them often. The contracture continues to get worse and I'm losing fine motor skills in my right hand and ability to use the index and middle finger and thumb to identify objects or to pick them up. I've also used Bunnell Safety Pin Splints which were painful because the fingers were next to each other and kept catching in each other's wires and rubber bands. What suggestions would you have for the proper orthodic device/s primarily for the ring and little finger which are becoming more rigid and fixed each day. I would like to be able to slowly stretch them back to their regular extended position. THank you very very much for your assistance.
